ILAC Dublin 2023 comes to an end to the sound of angelic voices

It's 430am in Dublin and I'm getting ready to head back to the airport to start my journey back home...and the first thing that came to find as soon as I opened my eyes after, what felt like, a short nap, was the beautiful, angelic voices of the singing group that formed part of last night's show.

The meetings hall, which had been full of chairs and tables hosting hundreds of connections between schools and agents over the past days, was completely transformed as soon as we walked back in there for the Gala Dinner...and let's face it, an IALC Gala Dinner never disappoints! Hats off to the team that made this happen...and the whole workshop happen!

As the dinner came to a close, we all had the opportunity to thank the outgoing IALC Board members, especially the outgoing Association President, Robin Adams, who had the difficult job of steering IALC through the pandemic in the past years, certainly not an easy task! The new IALC President, Kevin McNally thanked his predecessor and those who came before him, including previous IALC presidents Giorgia Bicelli and Celestine Rowland.

We now look forward to IALC 2024, a year which will take us to the beautiful Welsh capital, Cardiff...and we already cannot wait!

Thank you IALC for another memorable event. See you next year!
